Do I need a referral?
Absolutely not. You can call the clinic for an appointment or book online.
What should I bring?
Any documentation pertaining to your current injury or past injuries is always really helpful. This would include scan results and images, referrals, doctor letters and any previous notes from past treatment methods.
The more information the better.
What should I wear?
If we are looking at anything in your upper body, we encourage that females wear sports bras or singlets to allow us to see more clearly whilst maintaining privacy. If you’re at all uncomfortable with this, please let us know prior to the appointment and we can arrange some alternative strategies for your examination.
If we are looking at anything in your lower body, please wear flexible shorts that allow us to examine the particular area of concern.
Can physiotherapists refer for imaging?
We can. However, there are only a few modes of imaging and presentations that will be fully bulk billed when referred by a physiotherapist.
Any other imaging requests will need to be referred on to your regular GP. Your Physiotherapist will write a letter detailing your examination and any specific concerns to your GP who will then determine any specific imaging requirements or medical interventions.
What payment options are available?
We offer a wide range of payment options. We can process private health payments on-site at the time of your visit.
As well, we welcome Medicare GP Management Care Plans (EPC’s), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) appointments, CTP / insurance claims and WorkCover claims.
We do not currently bulk bill Medicare care plans.
If you bring your Medicare card and a savings card with you to your appointment, we can however process the Medicare rebate on the spot for you.
Yes, we are a registered DVA service provider and if you have a referral from your GP, we will bill DVA directly. Just make sure you bring your Veteran Card with you to your appointment.
Yes, you may use your health fund. Your gap is determined by the level of cover you hold with your Health Fund.
